NASA发布超清晰木星照(nasa超清星图)

NASA Releases Ultrahigh-Resolution Jupiter Images The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released stunning, ultrahigh-resolution images of Jupiter, captured by its Juno spacecraft. The images provide breathtaking new insights into the gas giant's mysterious atmosphere and reveal a wealth of previously unseen details. According to Scott Bolton, principal investigator of the Juno mission at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas, the images offer never-before-seen views of the planet's polar regions, which are covered in swirling, tempestuous storms. The images also show Jupiter's famous Great Red Spot, a massive and long-lived storm system that has been raging for centuries. The images were captured during Juno's tenth close flyby of Jupiter on December 16, 2017. At the time, the spacecraft was about 4,900 miles above the planet's cloud tops, moving at a speed of about 129,000 miles per hour. To create the ultrahigh-resolution images, Juno's JunoCam instrument captured multiple black-and-white photos of Jupiter's atmosphere as the spacecraft flew over the planet. These images were then combined into a vibrant, full-color composite image that offers incredible detail and clarity. Some of the most striking features visible in the images include bright white clouds that seem to sparkle against the backdrop of Jupiter's dark, brooding atmosphere. Other features include intricate cloud patterns and structures that give the planet a mesmerizing depth and texture. In addition to its stunning images of Jupiter, the Juno spacecraft has also provided valuable scientific data on the planet's atmosphere, magnetic fields, and interior structure. Scientists hope that the data will help provide new insights into the formation and evolution of Jupiter and other gas giants in our solar system and beyond. The release of these ultrahigh-resolution images is a testament to the technological and scientific achievements of NASA, as well as the dedication and skill of the many scientists and engineers who have worked tirelessly to make the Juno mission a success. As our understanding of Jupiter and other planets in our solar system continues to deepen, these images and the scientific data they provide will help to unlock new insights and fuel our curiosity about the mysteries of the universe.
