Dear Virgo #388,
As a fellow Virgo, I can understand the importance of attending to every detail and striving for perfection in everything we do. However, I want to remind you that it’s okay to let go and give yourself a break every once in a while.
I know that you’re the type of person who constantly sets high standards for yourself and always tries to exceed them. While it’s admirable to have such a strong work ethic, it can also be detrimental to your mental and physical health if you don’t allow yourself some time to rest and recharge.
It’s important to understand that perfection is unattainable, and that’s okay. Instead, focus on doing your best and accepting that mistakes and imperfections are a natural part of life. Don’t beat yourself up for making errors or not achieving everything on your to-do list. Give yourself credit for what you did accomplish and congratulate yourself for putting in the effort.
I know that you tend to be very hard on yourself, especially when it comes to criticism from others. Remember, criticism is not a reflection of your worth as a person. It’s simply feedback from someone else’s perspective. Use criticism constructively and learn from it, but don’t let it define you or bring you down.
Lastly, take some time to do something that you enjoy, whether it’s reading a book, going on a hike, or spending time with loved ones. Sometimes, taking a break from our busy lives can help us to gain perspective and come back even stronger and more focused.
Keep striving for excellence, but also give yourself some grace and self-love. You are amazing just the way you are.
Sincerely,
A fellow Virgo
